Programs 

Reading

Focuses on each child’s individual level by reinforcing areas such as decoding, comprehension, sequencing, and reading fluency through a variety of activities such as short stories, books, and poems.

Writing

Develops learning organizational strategies for correct grammar, usage and mechanics of writing. Study skills are reinforced as a necessary component of basic writing skills, outlining and editing. Computers will be utilized to enhance the writing process and instruction.

Mathematics

Focuses on each child’s individual math level by reinforcing skills such as computation, problem solving, real world math, and higher level thinking skills in order to maintain and increase accuracy in this subject area.

Social Skills

Throughout all summer program sessions, students will have the opportunity to interact with one another through a variety of activities such as morning meetings, snack, and social skill games. These opportunities allow students to practice social skill such as forming and maintaining peer relationships, team building, and an increase in self-esteem.
